The “Food Forester Training” program is funded by the EU, developed in collaboration with six partner organizations from four EU countries, and made available in the local languages. The Erasmus+ project aims to develop a training program for trained gardeners, farmers, and experienced practitioners. It will equip them to understand the various forms of forest garden systems, operate them economically, and, where appropriate, further develop them.
During the development phase, the actual need for continuing education will be assessed. Based on this assessment, appropriate teaching materials will be created. The final outcome will be an online course available to all participants in their native language and an in-person event, each taking place on-site at the participating farms in the four countries.

The event is aimed at practitioners in the fields of agriculture and horticulture, consulting experts, representatives of associations, vocational schools, training centers, and universities, trade media and publishers, as well as representatives from politics and administration, civil society, and NGOs
